The Center for Social Innovation, Local Knowledge and Educational Research will be conducting a seven-week Research Capability Building Program for Teachers in Social Sciences and in Teacher Education on March 8,15,22,29 and on April 4,12 and 19, 2021 from 9:30 AM - 12:00 NN.

A certificate of participation will be given after each session. Certificate of Training Completion will be given to those who will complete the said program.






The Research Capability Building Program for Health Researchers (February 19 - March 26, 2020)

The Research Capability Building Program for Health Researchers will be conducted with four sessions from February 19 - March 26, 2021. The program is an initiative of the Center for Health Research and Development (CHRD) of the University of Saint Louis’ Research and Development Center in collaboration with the Cagayan Valley Health Research and Development Consortium (CVHRDC) – Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region 2 under the program entitled “Support to the Capacity Building Activities of the Health Researchers of the University of Saint Louis.” The following sessions is included in the entire program:

February 19, 2021 - Writing the Introduction
March 19, 2021 - Basic Health Research Ethics
March 24, 2021 - Writing the Methods
March 25-26, 2021 - Laboratory Animal Handling for Research

The program consist of a series of four seminar-workshop sessions which aimed to assist faculty members and students of USL’s School of Health and Allied Sciences (SHAS) in improving their research capability and productivity.






The 2nd International Research Conference on Local Knowledge and Indigenous Studies (January 29 - 31, 2020)

The 2nd International Research Conference on Local Knowledge and Indigenous Studies organized by the University of Saint Louis - Center for Social Innovation, Local Knowledge and Educational Research in partnership with the International Multicultural Network invites teachers and undergraduate and graduate students to share and to discuss their researches and studies. The following topics are accepted for oral presentation: Cultural Studies, Local History, Ethnobiology, Intangible Cultural Heritage, Tangible Cultural Heritage, Indigenous Peoples Education, Culture and the Arts, Archeology, Anthropology and Sociology, Philippine Studies, Local Knowledge Promotion, Sustainable Development Goals, and Cagayano Development Studies.
